Richard Jones, III, is a successful trial lawyer in Sandy Springs. He represents the injured and their families, not insurance companies. Born and raised in Atlanta, his passion is his work.

He graduated from the University of Virginia in 1974 and obtained his law degree from Emory University Law School in 1978. He graduated near the top of his class, Order of the Coif (equivalent of Phi Beta Kappa or Magna Cum Laude). He attended Gerry Spence's Trial Lawyers College in 2003.

He was Editor (1997 - 1999) of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association's quarterly publication, The Verdict, and has written over ten articles published for trial lawyers and spoken frequently to trial lawyers at legal education seminars. He is Vice President and Trustee of the Georgia Consumer Justice Foundation.

He lives in Sandy Springs, where he is past President of Sandy Springs Little League and the Sandy Springs Bar Association. He has two adult sons. He is a 2004 graduate of Leadership Sandy Springs.
